The annual severe weather spotter training session sponsored by WARN will be held on Friday, 3/30/2001. Note: Due to an unforeseen conflict, the room we previously used for training is not available. Therefore, we have changed the location of the class. Our friends at Green Township have graciously offered to host the course on short notice. The address and directions are listed below, as well as a link to a map. We regret any inconvenience this change in location may cause, but it was beyond our control.
The session will start at 7:00pm.
This training session will be conducted by the National Weather Service, WARN, and the Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency. WARN recommends ALL amateur radio equipped weather spotters attend this session. In addition to weather training (which usually includes some really cool tornado pictures), radio net procedures and WARN club information will be presented. We hope to see you there. If you just can’t make it, there are other spotter classes available. More training opportunities.
