2011 WARN Annual Training Session

Posted by

The annual severe weather spotter training session sponsored by WARN will be held on Friday 4/1/2011 (no fooling!), at the American Red Cross, Blue Ash Office. The session will start at 7:00pm. The address and directions are listed below and a map is at the bottom of the page.

Everyone is welcome to attend this training. In addition to the regular basic spotter training program, we also add additional content for Amateur Radio Operators. Amateur Radio operators are strongly encouraged to attend this program.

This training session will be conducted by the National Weather Service, WARN, and the Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency. WARN recommends ALL amateur radio equipped weather spotters attend this session. In addition to weather training (which usually includes some really cool tornado pictures), radio net procedures and WARN club information will be presented.

We hope to see you there. If you just can’t make it, there are other spotter classes available. More training opportunities.
